With one month to the run, B95.5 helped spread the word about our Sarcoma Strong 5k. The Breakfast Club, Sean and Meredith, graciously invited us into the studio this am to increase awareness of sarcoma and generate some buzz around the run. Tori Riddick, a local osteosarcoma warrior, shared a little of her journey with her rare childhood malignancy. Dr. DiCaprio shared the physician’s perspective of the challenges of diagnosing and treating sarcomas. We are hopeful the exposure will help drive donations and participation in this year’s event on August 19th. Let’s support B95.5 by listening in the am. As the event gets closer there may be a call to action interview to motivate our community to stand up and support our local sarcoma families.
