Friends, family and the Guilderland community came out to support and celebrate Jenna this morning. She was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma in her collarbone February 2021, a junior scholar-athlete at Guilderland High School. After a few months of chemotherapy she underwent removal of her tumor and her post-operative chemotherapy continues for several more months. Just released from Albany Medical Center a few days ago after an inpatient treatment cycle of chemotherapy, she showed up and inspired all of us today. Her courage, her positivity and smile reassure her friends and family that she has this covered. A brave young lady sending a message to live each day to it’s fullest and to keep on fighting through hard times. Her goals besides kicking cancer’s butt are to go to college next year and play soccer for her school.
