Immunotherapy and Osteosarcoma

There has been little improvement in treatments for Osteosarcoma since the ’80s.  Several novel areas of exploration have not yielded better treatments thus far.  One of the main challenges is the rarity of the tumor and finding a good models to study different treatments.  In this recent review by Orthopaedic Oncology colleagues from Kanazawa, Japan an overview of the immune system and potential targets for treatment are outlined.
