Help TEAM SARCOMA increase awareness of this rare form of cancer in the Capital Region of New York, and help make the 2nd Annual Team Sarcoma 5k Run/Walk a huge success. The event is just over 7 weeks away, on Saturday, July 11th at the Saratoga Springs State Park. Registration is open and I encourage you to register today and spread the word to at least 10 of your closest friends and family members to join you in inspiring others, advocating for our local families and donating towards an amazing endeavor. Join an existing team or create your own and be a leader in an event that is making an impact both locally and nationally for those with sarcoma.
This year our goals are not only to increase awareness but to offer hope to all of those families battling sarcoma by funding a national sarcoma research project. It is all possible because of a collaborative effort between our local TEAM SARCOMA and the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society (MSTS.org). The MSTS is an organization made up of experts from around the world who dedicate their professional lives to the care of musculoskeletal tumors. Our local event may inspire other regions of the country to sponsor similar events and collectively we can fund more research and define better, more effective, and less toxic treatments for those afflicted with the relentless rare disease, SARCOMA!
