August 13th kicks off this year’s weekend long SarcomaStrong 5k Run/Walk Virtual Event. Registration will remain open through August 15th so any last minute participants please consider joining in. The donation page will remain open until the end of the year for those who wish to contribute funds for research.
As of August 4th, over 1000 participants have registered and or donated to our mission. Thank you to all who believe in what we are doing and for helping SarcomaStrong make an impact in the sarcoma world.
Our Registration site will be sending out an email to all registered participants next week with a VIRTUAL BIB that can be worn while you run, walk, or bike. Please take pictures and videos and share with the site included on registration email forthcoming. Also, please email sarcomastrong@gmail.com and stories, pictures or videos from the weekend you wish to share. Tag us on your social media throughout the weekend during your individual events.
Our mission has stayed the same: Raise awareness of sarcoma, advocate for sarcoma families and raise funds for research. Our intent is to connect the Global Sarcoma community of warriors, scientists and clinicians. We are optimistic that this will lead to continuous knowledge improvement of this rare disease and in delivering better care and treatments to all sarcoma patients.
